Disk2vhd is an utility from Sysinternals/Microsoft that lets you create a virtual hard disk (VHD or VHDX) from a physical disk while the system is running. It's especially handy if you want to convert a live Windows system into a virtual machine for use with Hyper-V or Virtual PC.
